Decisions Part 1

No one size fits all.
The above is often said by all, but the understanding is not fully reflected by all.
There are processes and procedures that, if one obeys or indeed follows, can lead to a particular end; however, if another follows the same, the outcome becomes different.
There are a lot of things that can affect the outcome even though the same process is followed.
Identical twins carried by the same womb and fed the same do not often produce the same result.
When God was leading the children of Israel from Egypt to the promised land, they had to pass through two bodies of water. The Creator of heaven and earth does not use the same form or model to achieve the same result. In the process of creating a passage in the Red Sea, He sent the wind. Exodus 14:21-22. For the River Jordan, He instructed that the feet of the priests that bear the ark be dipped in the brim of the water. Joshua 3:15-16.
It is important to know that a variety of things affect outcomes. The same process does not often produce the same outcome.
Decisions play a major role in outcomes. Today’s decisions are tomorrow’s outcome. Most times when we see a successful person, we desire such success; however, what is most important is knowing the sort of sessions that produce such outcomes. God has given us the gift of decision-making. We do not have a say in the outcome. You can only make decisions. It is very important to use every available means to make the correct decision that will give us the desired outcome.
You see a successful marriage, and you want such; then do all in your ability to make the necessary decisions to achieve such an outcome. When you meet people who have succeeded in the area that is appealing to you, strive to know from them how they arrived at this point. Know that there are also scars they have had to endure to get to this place. What you see, and I dare say the whole world sees, are the crowns and the stars, but there are scars too.
Determine today that you will pay more attention to your decisions because they will determine your outcome.

  1. This is very insightful. Sometimes, we don’t want the scars attached to the success, only the success. Thank you!
